August has been another busy month, although with the Stamp Duty changes and the school holidays, it has proved to be a more traditional summer month than the boom periods of June and July. That being said, demand for properties is still far outweighing supply, keeping prices high and steadily rising across Derby and the nation as a whole, with some reports suggesting a 13% increase nationally and 2.8% for Derby over the month. We have seen no end to the big numbers of new buyers registering their details with our teams and the amount of viewings taking place is also continuing to increase with the majority of new properties to the market receiving over asking price offers.
