July In Numbers

The summer is here and the busy market is still in full swing with over £28,000,000 worth of homes finding new owners. The amount of new buyers registered is holding steady month on month and so are the total number of viewings that have taken place. Interestingly, the average sold price is almost exactly the same as June's number with the majority of properties selling for above asking price. Derby continues to be a sellers market, with the supply of new properties to the market still lower than the amount of new buyers, meaning prices continued to rise steadily throughout July and we expect to see this trend continue into August, even taking the changes to Stamp Duty in to account.
